  • Daren Masten

    Daren Masten

    CHAIRMAN

    Daren is the Founder and CEO of Clear Cloud Solutions, a firm that implements cutting-edge security systems for governments, utilities, and businesses. Prior to founding Clear Cloud, Daren was a Director of Operations for The Home Depot managing over $3B in revenue across the Pacific Central Region. Daren is a member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe and works closely with the National Center on American Indian Enterprise Development to provide training and mentoring for native entrepreneurs around the country.

  • Michelle McCovey-Good

    VICE CHAIR

    Michelle is CEO of T&S Structural, a structural engineering firm that has successfully completed dozens of residential, commercial, and civil projects throughout California. A member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe, Michelle was part of the Smithsonian Institute’s design team for the National Museum of the American Indian. Michelle is also the founder of Ni’-Whon Consulting, which focuses on development projects on State, Federal, and Tribal Lands. Michelle obtained a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo.

  • Amanda Colegrove

    SECRETARY/TREASURER

    Amanda is a Hoopa Valley Tribal Member. She was born in Hoopa and grew up in Humboldt County before attending Princeton University, where she obtained a B.A. in Politics. Currently, Amanda is based in Arcata, CA and works as a Health Promotion & Education Manager for the United Indian Health Services. Amanda has significant experience in Accounting and Grants Management. She is passionate about economic development that builds the enterprising capacity of Hoopa Valley Tribal Members and the local community.

  • Steve Kalogeras

    BOARD MEMBER

    Steve is a Senior Attorney at Maier Pfeffer LLP, a law firm specializing in representing California Tribes. Steve formerly served as the Tribal Attorney of the Hoopa Valley Tribe, advising on a wide range of tribal governance and economic development matters. Prior to working in Indian Country, Steve spent over a decade as a civil litigator for technology companies in major intellectual property disputes. Steve received his B.A. from Stanford University, a J.D. from NYU School of Law, and an LL.M. in Indigenous Peoples Law from the University of Oklahoma.

  • Loren Norton

    BOARD MEMBER

    Loren is a member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe and has served the Tribe in many capacities throughout his career. He is currently Project Manager for the Hoopa Valley Housing Authority and was previously the Director of Hoopa’s Roads, Aggregate, and Ready-Mix tribal enterprise. He is also the former CEO of Hoopa Modular. Loren brings decades of construction experience to the Denoto Board. Loren is a Licensed General Engineering Contractor, a Licensed General Building Contractor, and also a certified Building Inspector.
